Michael Weisser is COO of AiM. He holds a Master’s equivalent in Economics from the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. Mr. Weisser has been working at AiM since 2009, providing consultancy to industry. His field of work comprises reimbursement, market access and HTA of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures which are based on the use of medical devices, especially in the German, Swiss and Austrian markets. He also plans and holds international workshops.
Ute Zerwes is a research analyst at AiM and has 14 years consultancy experience. She holds a Master of Science equivalent in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen. She is responsible for systematic reviews, HTAs, evaluation of scientific publications, as well as for medical writing. The preparation of value dossiers and reimbursement-related applications for medical devices in Germany, Switzerland and Austria constitute further fields of her work.
Mathilda Diel is a consultant at AiM. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the Universities of Freiburg and Marburg. She conducts systematic reviews and reimbursement procedures as well as market access research with subsequent preparation of reimbursement dossiers for medical device technologies in the German, Swiss and Austrian markets. Prior to joining AiM, she worked as a scientist in microbiology.
Lukas Schwegmann is a consultant at AiM. He has a Bachelor and a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Bochum. He conducts reimbursement and market access research with subsequent preparation of reimbursement dossiers for medical device technologies in the German, Swiss and Austrian markets. Mr. Schwegmann also has three years’ experience in the area of healthcare communication for the pharmaceutical industry and hospitals in Germany and Switzerland.
Alison Rushworth is project assistant at AiM. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in German language and literature from King’s College, University of London. Ms. Rushworth has 15 years’ experience in language validation for the life sciences industry, with English as her mother tongue and three additional languages.
Bertram Häussler is the chairman of the IGES Group, a corporation of research and consulting companies specializing in infrastructure and health care. He is a medical doctor, sociologist, and honorary professor of Economics of the Pharmaceutical Industry at the Technical University (TU) Berlin.
His research work focuses mainly on industrial economics, health services research, health economics, benefit assessment in medicine, as well as drug development in national and international contexts.
Bertram Häussler as the legal representative (Geschäftsführer) gives general support and ensures a profound cooperation within the IGES Group.
